A month ago I was able to get Dota 2 inside a VR environment and it was mostly playable:
Here’s a screen recording of a VR “cockpit” I made for Dota 2. This allows me to play Dota 2 on a giant virtual screen using an Oculus Rift virtual reality headset. Pieces of Dota 2’s HUD are enlarged on virtual monitors near the player.
